This experience was horrible. First lady from Kupps in Martinsburg WV made reservation for the right time but not an early pickup but rather a counter pickup. I had to pickup at a later time at different location. I lost time and money from a job because of this. Also was told it was .39 per every mile after 100 miles. Wouldn't recommend U-Haul as a reliable source to rent but rather a rental company.Countryside Elec L.

The vehicle flashed service notices that an Oil Change was needed, and the cameras are dirty and needed cleaned. The camera issue made it so that the collision avoidance system would not operate so I had to deal with those the entire trip. Also the front windscreen was cracked from side to side. Luckily the crack did not impact my line of sight but it needs correcteRobert P.

I reserved a dolly. No dolly was in the vehicle. It took over 20 minutes to get the vehicle because they could not figure out something with the system.Anthony L.

Vehicle was ready when I went to get it at ZZ. Both people I dealt with there were friendly and polite. Charles Town rental did not have vans and said the hospital had them both indefinitely. They offered a box truck, which I did not need. Bad because if you know they will have two vans indefinitely should make an effort to get more. I will go back to ZZ in two weeks when I need a van again.Lisa C.
We were disappointed in Uhaul for our cross country move. We booked our Uhaul at a location 5 minutes from our home and had to instead travel 30 milesâ€”60 miles round trip. We asked to have the contactless pickup. After traveling 30 miles we attempted for 45 minutes to get our Uhaul. Earlier in the day we were told we would be able to get our Uhaul after hours via the lockbox. We were also told if we had trouble to call the after hours service line at ZZ Auto Service. Called after hours and that person told us they were not in the area and to call a different number. Left a message on second number with no return call. Then we called Uhaul. Two phone calls to Uhaul and 45 minutes later we were told because we rented a truck and trailer, we could not do the contactless/key box pickup. We would have to return the next day. We are disappointed with the pickup location being so far away and no discount offered other than they would add 50 miles to our truck which they had to due to the distance we had to travel to pick it up. We are also disappointed in the miscommunication about being able to use the lock box for pickup.Matthew H.

I was wrongfully charged liability insurance when I specifically declined. I was also charged for a handtruck when I never ordered or ask for one, it was not provided oneâ€¦ In essence, I was charged $15 more than what I should have been. This is an ethicalâ€¦Walter D.

Absolutely nothing to improve. We came just at closing because of a terrible experience at a Winchester UHaul: not only did ZZ Auto Service stay late to help us, they were fast and friendly. All around confused as I put $100 deposit as well as the insurance, put the gas back but was told it was under but wasn't I put it back where it was when I picked it up and was around 8 miles over estimated mileage and yet I have to pay about another $37 for a truck I only had for about 7hrs max needless to say I guess I will not be renting another uhaulSHAWN ERIC D.

I didn't get to meet the staff as I dropped off out of open hours. I will say that I'm not good at driving trailers and it was easy to park the way all their stuff was arranged at this location, it was clean and welcoming etc. Again, U-Haul service was so helpful to me here thanks again to everyone thereADAMTIMOTHY N.

Pick up location was not the same as they told us. Drop off took over 3 1/2 hours one place was closed before the time they said they were one place told us they wouldn't do any dealings with U Hall ever again they told us of another place that may be open got there it wasn't open they didn't want to let us leave the truck there because their GPS said we were a mile and a quarter away from where we were supposed to be offeredTo take it up the road and leave it after 45 minutes we got it settled with a representative on the phone ridiculousJOHN ARTHUR JR S.

My credit card was charged a 'drop off' fee. In effort to avoid the additional fee, I called U-Haul (spoke with a live person), left a voice mail at ZZ Auto, as well as texted them (and received a reaponse) about my timely drop-off to their lot. AND I STILL GOT CHARGED A FEE. Auto check-in or check-out do not always work on our new smart phone technology, yet the auto billing seems to work seemlessly every darn time! Thanks U-haul for wasting a phone call to customer service today (which took over 10mins) whereby I was transferred to another Dept, then still placed on hold for another 10mins. I give up... it's RIDICULOUS.Lisa H.

I feel they need to let the customer know the full rate charges of the truck. I was told $19.95 for 24 hr plus $1.29 for each mile driven. Was NOT told you had to pay for fuel on top of it. I hate hidden fees. When you rent many are rushing to get the job done and over with. Dont have time to sit and read the fine print. So just tell the customers all hidden fees!CHERYL D.
This was the only location in a ten mile radius that had a tow dolly. I was grateful they had one. Pickup was quick and trouble-free. The young lady I dealt with was pleasant and helpful.Butch H.
