Moving to Detroit, One of America's Most Prestigious Cities

Join us in revitalizing the city of Detroit!  We opened U-Haul Moving and Storage of New Center in the once abandoned NBC building in Midtown, so we could help move you to the Motor City.

Founded in 1701, Detroit has been one of the most vital catalysts in the growth of our country.  Known for being home to the 'Big Three' automobile manufacturers Detroit has literally helped move America, something we at U-Haul love.

Detroit has long been a hub for American economy and culture, beginning with the musical renaissance of Motown in the 1940's, and continuing with the art movement that is currently thriving within the city.  If you want to learn more about Detroit and its influence on American culture, be sure to visit the Detroit Institute of Art or the Motown Historical Museum once you make your move!
