kim r | Overall ExperienceYour company is horrible to deal with. First, the trailer that I was supposed to take was not working. So we had to start a second time. Then, they failed to give me the furniture pads that I paid for -- which ended up causing damage to the cargo. When I called about it I was promised a credit -- which was never provided. Instead, you attempted to charge me for missing furniture pads that I never received. When we contacted the Detroit location about a free storage unit (as advertised), we were told that it would be the same size as the trailer rental. It wasn't. They ended up giving us a 5 x 10 space (for a 6 x 12 trailer) and everything did not fit -- even after we put everything in and then had to put it in a 2nd time because the door would not close. Today when I called about the bill (including the charge for the furniture pads that I did not receive, as well as the charge to change units) your representative hung up on me.

Lisa T | Overall ExperienceThe General Mananer in typical Capitalist fashion took advantage of my haste to retrieve my things and in âhelpingâ me to obtain another storage unit I paid 132.00 for a truck I drove 23 miles was not able to get a storage unit at the next U-Haul so I was basically scammed but it was a better outcome than the U-Haul on Ohio that stole everything I owned U-Haul employees some of the most unscrupulous human.beings and obviously trained and expected to screw the customer I will never rent from UHaul again. This is after over 25 years of using them for my moving needs
