I am extremely disappointed with my recent U-Haul rental experience. After working all day, I went out of my way to Uber to the rental location, expecting the pickup process to be straightforward and efficient. Instead, the experience was frustrating, inconvenient, and completely unprofessional. When I arrived, the lockbox did not work, leaving me waiting outside for approximately 45 minutes with no way to access the vehicle. I then had to spend an additional 15 minutes on hold trying to get assistance. After nearly an hour of wasted time and continued frustration, someone finally arrived and was able to let us in. This delay significantly cut into the time we had planned for our move. We rented the U-Haul specifically to make the process easier and more efficient, yet the pickup experience did the exact opposite. Having to pay for an Uber to get to the location only to be left waiting outside because the provided access system was not functioning made the situation even more frustrating. To make matters worse, once we finally received the vehicle, we discovered that the tire pressure was low. After already dealing with nearly an hour of delays, receiving a vehicle that did not appear to be properly checked or prepared before pickup was unacceptable and raised additional concerns about the level of care being taken with your rental vehicles. Overall, this experience fell far below what I would expect from U-Haul. Between the nonfunctioning lockbox, excessive wait time, difficulty reaching assistance, and the vehicle being provided with low tire pressure, the entire process felt poorly managed and unprofessional

Wiley HThe building exterior and entrance need improvements. If it were not for me wanting to support business in the neighborhood, I would have turned around and left when I pulled up to the building and as I entered it. The equipment was fine and ready early. So from a delivery perspective, I was pleased. I'd like to see some investment in the infrastructure.
