I personally stopped a few days prior to reserve a 6x12 trailer for an important move. The manager was very nice and got me reserved. But UHaul corporate overbooked his schedule. Apparently, some customers extended their trailer rental and he didn't have the 6 x 12 trailer I needed for the move. I was lucky he had a 5 x 8. But I was not able to move my household goods from storage and still have some there requiring me to extend my rent with Extra Space Storage. And I will now need to rent another trailer this weekend to complete the move. I've used UHaul for 30 years as a military officer and now retiree and this is the first screw up I've had. But it is a very negative screw up. I had my sons visiting to help with the heavy furniture. I'm 100% disabled combat vet and needed them. Now this weekend, my wife and I will have to do this by ourselves. It is disappointing. I would like to request a discount for this Friday's move when I try to rent a 6 x 12.
