Be more responsive when a disgusting U-Haul is given to a customer. I’m very disappointed but he lack of care of U-Haul and U-Haul partners in Columbus Georgia. Not only did I have to pay for a U-Haul but I have to pay to buy cleaning supplies and air fresheners for the U-Haul provided before o could ever pack the first thing. I now have to pay for professional cleaning of my couches and anything else that is fabric that was in the U-Haul. My husband and I both are now sick due to the overwhelming smell of cigar and cigarette smoke. There was a dirty mattress left in the cargo area that made the cargo area reek even after attempting to air out and spray air freshener as well as wipe down the entire cargo area with Clorox wipes. I brought up these concerns several times and was told that “ someone would get back with me” I’m out an extra 1000 now for cleaning my things before they can even go in my house. U-Haul is a brand you should be able to trust to make things acceptable. I guess I put too much trust in a brand that has been the “go to “for years. I will never use them again
