This was by far the worst U-Haul experience I have ever had. The people at the location were rude and unhelpful, the person on the support line was unhelpful, the chat bot was unhelpful, the app and online portal were broken, the cab and box of the truck was filthy. I returned the truck a day early because I didn’t want to deal with it anymore. I rented a different vehicle for the second day of moving. I will never use U-Haul again.

SHELAGH TWhen I arrived, the entrance was unclear, and I received little to no assistance. Some employees appeared to be asleep when I entered seeking help, and I was directed to use the app to check in instead of receiving in-person customer support. I was also told I could return the truck to any convenient location, but I was not informed that a $300 fee would apply if it was not returned to the original pickup location.
