It's challenging to do the self return with the Uhaul app because I couldn't get strong enough cell service to upload the pictures. I had to walk up the street to complete the process.
Jacob ZMums mini mart was great once a truck was located there. The ontario uhaul booking process was horrid. We had booked a 10 ft truck in Lindsay weeks before our moving date. The move was scheduled for a Sunday and destination was to Perth. The Saturday before the move we received a call from head office saying no truck was available but we could pick one up in Bobcaygeon. They would cover sme extra mileage..we had no choice but to agree.. arrive at Bobcageon to find the location looked up tight. Called Ontario office and oh yes they made a mistake Noone is available to provide a truck there. After a time they find a 15 ft truck in Dunford and reserve that for us at the same price. We arrive at Mum's Mini Mart and the woman working there is great. We pick up our larger truck 90 minutes late and are on our way No compensation for the extra fuel costs incurred by the use of a much larger truck. No compensation for fuel we used to drive around in our vehicle to multiple locations. And we still incurred $15 inextricably mileage costs.
Gaynel BTruck was covered in ice and snow last time I rented a trailer it was frozen to the ground had to make other arrangements then they tried charging me an extra 50 dollars I just want my money back after this horrible experience
WADE WPersonal behind desk was absolutely THE rudest person I've ever met snd she should not be working there representing UHAUL. Should be fired.. yelled and screamed at me like I was her child.
