The location was having significant trouble checking me in. I do not have a phone capable of using the U-Haul app, and my driver’s license had not been pre-uploaded, which caused additional issues during the check-in process. The entire pickup process took more than 45 minutes. The return was also problematic. When I returned the truck, it apparently was not checked in for an entire day, which resulted in me receiving a phone call about an overdue vehicle—even though I had already returned it. I also did not select this location. U-Haul redirected my reservation to this location, which added additional mileage to my rental and resulted in extra charges. Overall, the experience was frustrating and unnecessarily time-consuming.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkI booked at a place in Coventry and last minute changed my pickup to East Greenwich which took me more time and also cost me another 40miles in cost and fuel. I don’t believe I should have to pay extra mileage when reserved and got changed last minute. When I got to the place also took me another 45 minutes because the person who rented before me never ended their trip. The guy at the place I had to pick it up was great and wasn’t any of his fault. He was great but not happy I had the extra time and cost when I reserved in Coventry and got changed last minute on your end to another town which added 40miles to my time and cost.
Michael MCheck in process took forever and there was terrible service. Returning the truck was easy.
Jeffrey BGuy behind the counter complained that this was a liquor store not a car rental place. Cell service for self pickup was bad. I ordered and was charged for moving blankets and for a hard truck that was not given. I was also charged for 30 miles, I only drove less than 10 miles. The truck was fine, but there was a lot of dings and dents. I need to get another uhall to finish moving, but I wont be renting from here again.
