My rental was delayed due to late return of the equipment. No U-haul representative was on site to check out the equipment or inspect the equipment. This location should be closed! Maintenance of the equipment was very poor. Trailer tire had tread separation with steel extruding from the tire. Fortunately a U--haul contractor noticed this at my first rest stop. The same tire blew out in a very dangerous section of the highway but I was able to make it to the next exit. At destination, (a professional auto shop), the mechanic inspected the trailer and found that a wheel fender had a bolt placed where if trailer was under load and hit a bump, the bolt would shred the tire. When departing the next morning, he also found that half of the rear lights were inoperative which is a severe safety issue. Upon return to the original dealer, again there was no U-haul representative to check in the equipment or address the maintenance issues.
