Originally made a reservation for a one-way 15' truck rental to be picked up at: https://www.uhaul.com/Locations/Truck-Rentals-near-Chestertown-MD-21620/042145/ However, they 'are a small local dealer and don't have the inventory to all ANY ONE-WAY RENTALS; nor do they have 15' trucks available. So - my "reservation" was totally useless... Second time this has happened. Fortunately, LISA called me directly, and together with BRIAN at Chesapeake, we made everything work out between us, and all was set. On my arrival though, "Corporate" didn't have ANY records of ANY conversations, despite people at two ends doing just that. Corporate just couldn't handle this kind of occurrence, and were neither helpful nor as pleasant as I'd prefer. For some reason, the web site wouldn't properly load at Chesapeake, and Brian had to put down my home address rather than the correct drop-off point. On arrival at the new place, the staff were incredibly helpful - SURPRISE! - and made it all work out. OTOH, there are NO UHAUL SIGNS to denote this is a UHAUL facility! AGAIN! Together with BRUCE at Stefko UHAUL in Bethlehem, who was also super useful and knowledgeable, this rental DID eventually work out, DESPITE CORPORATE. REALLY - if you're going to have a drop off site, it has to be very visibly marked. REALLY - if I make a reservation for a specific truck at a specific site, then YOU HAVE TO MAKE A TRUCK AVAILABLE AT THAT SITE! rather than making ME drive out of my way a goodly distance. Otherwise, it isn't as reservation but as HOPE. Next time I use RYDER.

It was difficult to check in a timely manner as the scanner wouldn’t load and took several tries, causing me to begin my journey later than planned. It was also difficult to take all the needed photos at the end because there are bushes and things in parking area.
KRISTEN KI had an order of a furniture, dolly and 12 packing pads and we did not have our dolly and we did not have our packing pads. I do expect a refund on those two amounts and that is why I marked it as poor.
Jody CGas gauge was not quite at a quarter when I got it but they were calling it that. My trip was 12 miles round trip. I got $7.00 of gas right next door to RITTENHOUSE lumber. They checked it in after I left and received an email about 45 minutes later showing the gas gauge was between an 1/8 and a quarter. Not sure how that could be. As the truck was running I was filling it with gas to make sure it reached a quarter tank. The whole experience was frustrating with rittenhouse lumber. The truck had 112,000 miles on it. I won’t go back there again. I’ll be going to Glenside
Jerry HThe interior bed had debris from prior rental. In addition, I could not get the app to work successfully to complete the return check-in process and was charged extra for it.
