I did not book a mobile pick up location but was transferred to one and told it would only take 8-10 min for pickup. The app was extremely glitchy. I was not aware that I needed 2 contacts, a passport, or a physical lease to verify my identity. I did not have the latter 2 on me and thankfully I did have 2 people with me to verify my identity by phone call. But even after calling both people, my identity was not verified and the customer service agent I talked to was completely unhelpful. We also called the live customer service line and no one picked up for the entire 40 minutes we were trying to do this. She ended up making me completely redo the process. Once I finally got the keys to the vehicle, the app continued to glitch and would not let me save the inspection pictures of the truck for several minutes. This was a completely unituitive and unsupported process that wasted 40 min of my day. I will never be using UHaul again for future moves.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkMake sure people hand over a clean vehicle: cabin and cargo area. Double check that all equipment rented is in the truck: two pads and one appliance dolly did not make it to my truck. The app could guide you to report truck conditions at pick-up. I had to call to customer service to avoid being charged with the pads and dolly that did not receive.
Jorge MThe mobile pickup experience was terrible. I was unable to upload any pictures of the body of the vehicle. Also, the truck's gas tank was only filled to 3/4 but the contract and required return was 7/8.
