I picked up the truck drove it to my home to load noticed fuel odor crawled underneath hole in fuel tank that attempted to be plugged and was leaking. It was a disaster. I then was informed I could pick up another truck in Creston, Iowa, and they would be ready for me. I got there. They had knew nothing about it that I was switching trucks. Then I bring the truck back after I was done to the Creston location. Tried to check the truck yet. It wouldn’t let me and they told me I had to take the truck to Lamoni where I originally booked the rental no one informed me of this then when I check in, they charge me for extra mileage and fuel wasn’t adequately at the right level. I have no issue paying for a rental and the required fee fees, but when I get rented a vehicle that is unsafe and in my opinion, dangerously unsafe, I don’t feel I should be subject to pay in full. I was informed I would be receiving an email as I requested a refund. To my knowledge that Email has not yet come. I have rented U-Haul a number of times over the past few years and have never had an issue. This time was a completely different story and frankly it was awful.
