Was dropping off a trailer and was not aware that they closed at 1pm. Tried calling the number and no one answered. When I was able to speak to someone I was told I would have to wait 30 minutes.
CHRISTOPHER VI have always enjoyed renting trailers and trucks from U-Haul. This is the first time that things did not go well. After hooking up the 4 x 6 enclosed trailer, I failed the turn signal test on the right side of the trailer. U-Haul employee swapped trailer with another, but kept the same pigtail wiring extender. I failed again and the employee assumed it was an issue with my vehicle - fuse, wiring, other. He said Auto-Zone could help, so I went to the closest one. The Auto-Zone employee did not know where or how to solve the issue. I had suspicion that it was not my vehicles' fault and opted to buy a multimeter to read DC power on the 4 wiring ports on my vehicle. Sure enough, all were working as designed for turn signals, stopping and emergency flashers. Went back to U-Haul and requested him to use a new pigtail this time. Everything worked! So after wasting all of this time and $28, I was finally on my way with the original trailer.
