The truck was not ready for the mobile pick up. According to U-Haul Support, the location did not execute the required procedures on their end to allow for mobile pick up. As a result, I had to make multiple phone calls to both U-Haul and the local representative with this location to actually drive off with the truck. This interaction took almost an additional hour. Also to note, the truck I had reserved for alomst 4 months was not available at the location I selected. The day before pick up I was notified that my pickup location has changed and was over 40 minutes away causing issues with my moves timeline.

EBENEZER ADidn’t love that I didn’t get much of an explanation of the process or expectations. As someone who’s never rented a U-Haul before I was a bit confused and the process took longer than it needed to. I also don’t like “my name” being signed to a contract on my behalf. I would’ve preferred a physical copy. Overall though the process was smooth both with pick up and return so I’d recommend and return if ever I’m in the need.
