How U-Haul Reviews WorkI rented my U-Haul and drove about 35 miles a quick trip dropping off a toolbox. I picked the U-Haul up and the mileage and the gas were off from what was on the dashboard the mileage was at 139675 on paper but on the dash it was at 139679. Already a little concerning because I was initially charged a hold on my credit card for 40 miles. The gas also was off but the clerk told me bring the truck back to what it is on the dash and I should get no extra charges when I got my final receipt I was charged for 35 miles the mileage on dash read 139711. But I was charged almost 25$ for gas and I called in and an associate by the name of Colby Hill told me that the paperwork can be incorrect and he’s the one responsible for the recording of that information . However When I asked if they have pictures to support what they consider to be the mileage and the gas level he claims they only record it on paper. that is leaving them space to be untrustworthy and allowing them to record faulty information I myself filled the gas up back to what it was before I dropped off the truck which I have receipts for and they took it upon themselves to fill the gas to full on my dollar which is not right I will be disputing the charges with my bank.
