Just a reminder to check the back of the uhaul before renting it to someone. There was pillows, blankets covered in piss and we had to clean the uhaul before packing

First of all, I reserved a U-Haul truck three weeks before we needed it at the store closer to my home thinking I was going to go there to pick it up. No, I sent to 108th location which is 12 miles from my home. I look at the office hours and they open at 9. I get there at 9:30 for 10 am scheduling ( which through my day off 3 hours because the 144 th location opened at 7 am) and the place is closed. So I call and they return the call and I have to get a key out of a lock box and take all kinds of photos and basically check the rental out myself. The rental is also parked in a grass lot that I had to drive off from.
Jeffrey LTruck was not ready. Had to call someone out and got the truck an hour and a half later.
Brett AThe employee who helped me with returning the U-Haul was incredibly helpful and worked with me regarding a mishap with the mileage on the truck. After the fact, I did have a situation where it seemed as though the truck couldn't be located and I got several phone calls from different u-hauls expecting the truck so other than some technical difficulties and confusion - this location did great and that had nothing to do with that situation it seemed.
Amarah SThere is a store front but the office was empty. The process was to scan code to drop off. However, the U-Haul app kept kicking me off. Found a phone number on the internet. The guy was very helpful but made me uncomfortable dropping something off and not having a human physically confirm.
