The gentleman that helped us when picking up the uhaul did a fantastic job. He is a real gentleman.
Gary TThe equipment 20ft box truck left me stranded on the HWY. Road service asked me if I could pay for the tow service to get me off the restricted roadwork HWY and the will reimburse me when I return the truck. First tow service took 2 hrs to get me a mile off the hwy to a Walmart parking lot. Then had to call roadside service to set up a tow to my house. It took them 6.5 hrs and " could not find " anyone until I gave them a tow company number to call and found out later that it was an approved vender that uhaul uses but did not want to pay the tow service amount. 7.5 hrs later from 9:00 pm the start of the breakdown to home at 4:30 am the following day I get to offload not only that I had reached out to customer service and asked for a bill review considering the time spent on the side of road and and milage charged to me even on a tow truck, I get $50 back and a toll bill while hooked to the tow truck.if this is considered taking care of the customer, I am speechless. I had asked for someone to call me and have yet to receive a call. Uhaul this is unacceptable!! To say the least.
