The people at this location don't understand English or the process of renting a truck. I could deal with the language barrier if that was the only problem. The back of the truck was full of clippings of hair and had some kind of weird rubber weather stripping rolling around as well. Once I got rid of that stuff the rental worked reasonably well and I returned it the same day even though it wasn't due until the next day. I handed the keys to the man that had rented it to me and asked him if there was anything else and he indicated there was not as best he could. I left the store and thought nothing of it. The charge for the truck did not appear for many days and I checked in my rental contract was still open even though I had returned the truck days ago. I called customer service and got transferred to a supervisor who worked it out in the next few days probably using cameras to verify that I had returned the truck the same day I rented it. All in all this was a complete disaster except for the truck itself which was fine. The rental process at this tire shop is a disaster. The last few times I've rented a U-Haul truck it's been from some random business it doesn't really seem to know what they're doing. Frankly I don't think this is a great model for truck rentals and considering the hassle and stress of wondering whether someone was going to try to charge me for a bunch of extra days I'll be looking into other options next time. U-Haul was better when there were a few authorized retailers with larger fleets because they had the process down pat. Renting your trucks from random mom and pop shops that don't speak English is probably not the best way to go.

It was just strange to do everything myslef. An app, texting, picking up a truck from a tire dealer, us9ing a combonation to get my own key.....have you eliminated people from your company? You've outsorced so that you can save money and hire the client to do all of the work? Taking picutres and proving I took care of your truck? Maybe that's the direction the world has gone, but I don't think I should have paid $1200.00 for uHaul service when I did everything.
Theresa TThe opening time of the business is earlier than stated on U-Haul website. The people who were in the store had no idea how to help customers as the U-Haul person was not in the store and had to be called to help me . After the person was called , he was extremely helpful. Recommend to call ahead 1 day in advance and speak to the U-Haul person.
