Clerk accepted my key and said E-mail receipt would come in 15 to 30 minutes. No receipt was delivered on Wednesday 7/22/2026. Started calling U-Haul 800 number Wednesday and Thursday. Always was told it will come “shortly “. Finally received it at 11:09 AM Friday morning. My issue was I did not have anything when I returned the truck to show I had. Very poor way to run your business.

They were spectacular!! I would use them again!
Blanca GI dropped off the truck on time after adding gas to approximately the same level as when I left. The clerk checked the vehicle and told me all was good, no charges. But the receipt was marked 1/16 of a tank below the level and they charged me for 2 gallons! When I filled it it was below 1/4 and I added 4.5 gallons which brought it to 1/2. That sort of shady game soured the experience, on top of the location where I originally reserved my truck (930 S 47th St, San Diego) being closed when I got there, even though they told me it would be open all day.
