Jim HWhile the equipment was fine and everything was in order when i picked up the 26' truck, the return was another story. A couple of days after turning in the truck, I got a receipt for the transaction--which was made without contacting me. It turned out that I was charged for 3 days when I only had the truck for less than one. The "agent" at the facility does nothing but handle the vehicle checkout/in process. When i contacted him about the overcharge, he said he would "leave a note" for the boss. It has been 5 days, so far, and I've not heard anything about the overcharge. It seems that the franchise isn't well handled nor conducted in a professional manner.
Russell HEvery time i go inside I'm paying hundreds of dollars more. I feel ive been scammed previously at this location but if you do it online it seems to be a much easier process! Be prepared to take about 15-30 minutes before you get your truck for verifications. They don’t really mention the amount of verifications you need and how long it takes. Everything was pretty mid but im really happy with the price point this time!
Rianna MLocation closed at 2 pm on a Saturday! The “after hours return is a pain in the *%#>. Additionally the reservation system tries to sell you supplies that you didn’t select. The site pre-selects boxes, etc with quantities that you must DESELECT if you don’t want them. Pay attention. The hand truck that is “secured” in the truck with a breakable tie is in the way of loading - if the flimsy toe “seal” is broken, you are charged for it whether you use it or not. All designed to rip you off if you don’t pay close attention. Rental fee advertised-$49. Final charge after 6 hours and 35ish miles (not including fuel) - $129. I’m canceling my next reservation and going with Penske.
