Moving is no fun, as you well know. The staff were adequate. I had an issue after getting everything into storage, and it couldn’t be locked with the lock l had purchased. Their first solution was for us to move everything to another space in 100 degree heat. Finally the guy was able to install a new locking mechanism, and we could then put our lock on it. So l appreciated him for that. All that said, my main frustration had to do with “trying” to set up the uhaul app. I don’t believe I’ve ever had more problems with any other app. It was beyond ridiculous. It kept asking me to retake selfie (tried about 10 times and finally gave up). Same with the DL license. However, when l arrived to get the truck, the selfie and DL appeared on the screen. Then another issue occurred when l needed to complete the app for the storage. When l got to adding “alternate contact, it kept saying you can’t use the same info as the primary user. Ridiculous bc l was using my son as the alternate contact and no information was even close to the same or similar. Extremely frustrating at an already stressful time. I really hope you can FIX the app issues. It’s absolutely useless.

Help to see if it could be fixed. After 15 mins. Would you like to change units. Yes. Drove to new one and the latch opened and closed. Had all my stuff moved in and it was great. Thank you.

BRIAN K | Overall ExperienceThe facility is fine. The customer service rep was fine. The 20’ truck I rented was not. The A/C fan motor didn’t work. The brakes were horrible. The box has several leaks and my contents got wet. Enough so that boxes were falling apart. Hands down the worst uhaul truck I’ve ever rented in my adult life. I’d give zero stars if I could.
JONATHAN K | First ImpressionsI had been a customer since 2021. Management and every single worker was AMAZING. After UHaul bought it, the customer service wasn’t as good. It was nearly impossible to talk to someone. Every time I went I was told by maintenance that they couldn’t do anything and I would either have to drive to another location to speak with someone or come back. The kids they hired are rude and one always had an attitude when I would ask a question. I was hoping to move to a smaller unit….. I moved to another storage after that, now paying $40 more.
