Delivering the truck and renting storage place in Elkins,WV was excellent. Pick up of trailer in Chicago another story. A trailer was reserved and accepted prior to traveling to Chicago. It was needed a certain date at a certain time due to Cargo Elevator at high rise building. The reserved trailer was not available. Agent rudely said to go somewhere else to pick one up??? Not easy not being familiar with the city and impossible to get ti done before the elevator reservation time. Force to rent a truck at double the cost. Missed the elevator time had to wait 4 hrs and drive back to Elkins, WV with 2 vehicles, arriving at 4:00AM having to work next day. Horrible service and experience. UHaul should have obtained the trailer from another site and having it avaible at reservation time tat was excecuted 2 days before. Horrible Experience.

JAIME T | First ImpressionsI wasn’t aware of any such promotion or that we got this promotion until now. The customer service representative was excellent. Due to stress, I do not understand the security system there on the storage premises or what she told me about it so we will probably only be using the facility while someone who works at the facility is present at the facility. I’m sure she told us and I remember her telling us about it but I can’t recall what she said. We did get a free first months rental on all four 10’X10’ units which was also a wonderful deal for us since selling and finding a new home to live in after closing and moving and storage is an expensive thing. One that you really can’t plan for until you are ready to do it. Then it all hits at once. Thank you all very much.
