How U-Haul Reviews WorkSaw multiple spiders and roaches in unit and hallways, saw two different men that appeared to spend a lot of time at their units, often. A partial living situation. I didn’t feel safe enough to visit the site on my own.
Katherine M | Overall ExperienceWhat started as a genuinely nice storage facility a few years ago has turned into something else entirely and is now quite honestly awful. The "climate control" means 85+ degrees on a good day. Public restroom is constantly out of order. Homeless people living inside the facility, while management claim otherwise. Literal human excrement in the hallways. On multiple occasions - had units red locked when they are on auto payment. All the way around an unpleasant experience especially for how expensive these units are now. Multiple other facilities in town for half the cost that have actual working facilities.

I forgot his name (I think Micheal) He has excellent customer services skills and went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure I was able to reserve a truck for Saturday. I appreciate his dedication to his customers. I will always use your Evans St location for all of my future storage and truck needs!!

AMANDA G | First ImpressionsWhen we arrived with our load, the unit number we were given already had a lock on it and was in use. Because the office was already closed, we had to call corporate, which took some time before we could talk to an actual person. We were told to choose an unoccupied unit and square it away the next morning, which we did…or we THOUGHT we did. We removed our stored items about two weeks later, within the time frame of our free month of storage. Then, when my wife checked her credit card bill last night, we were billed for a month of storage for TWO UNITS. What was worse, we had reserved a truck to move the items to another city Saturday morning and were to pick it up when the office opened at 7:00…only nobody showed up to open up the office, and since we were on a timeline, my wife had to go get a truck from another U-Haul office across town, and even THEY took a while to help her out. Ended up losing about 2 hours of our day, which didn’t seem to bother anyone at U-Haul in the least.
