The staff was excellent, very cordial and courteous. I will definitely use U-Haul again and I will recommend to anyone that needs services.

Evaristo M | First ImpressionsMy phone calls have never been answered at actual location. Have been to location and place is dark and closed with no one working. I was not told there were no elevators for a second story. I paid for climate control and this building is a warehouse with minimal fans or AC it’s 80 degrees inside and it’s not even summer yet. It took me 20 minutes to find my unit because there was no one there show me and it’s a huge confusing multiple building place with no clear directions. Once I found my unit it does not actually look like 10x5. And there is a giant RaT Bate house taking up a foot of space. This does not look promising!!! And because I live 7 hours away I had no one way to see this in time to cancel and go with another storage facility. Now there are no available units at other locations because college move outs have started. This is a huge disappointment 😭but I am stuck with it. Good thing I got insurance because I have a feeling everything will be molded 3 months from now.

When he was informed that we had signed a contract for the truck we were offered first month free on the storage unit. He stated that his paper work/computer information indicated no such arrangement I asked him to have the free first month agreement confirmed by the time we unloaded the truck. By all accounts that has now been corrected. There were ample moving carts to use at the facility

Kimberly M | Overall ExperienceWhen I initially tried to get a storage unit no one at the facility was able to enter my info in the computer. I was told to come back the next day. The next day I was issued a unit at another facility, when I returned to the store they wanted to argue that they didn't have accesses to any other units! When it was discovered i was issued a unit at another facility they wanted to figure out how that happened instead of taking care of me! I wasted too much time just trying to get a unit that I was unable to use the truck to move my belongings as needed! I did ask about compensating me for my time, they told me they couldn't do anything about that! Then I received a message days later stating I owed money on my rental. When I went to the store the computers were down! I told the lady this was normal as I was never able to solve any issues on my first visit. I went on to tell her about being issued a storage unit at the wrong facility.... she told me it wasn't possible! I told her what happened and she refused to believe me, literally argued it couldn't happen! VERY RUDE!!!! All around a bad experience!!!!

SETH T | First ImpressionsIt was dangerous for U-Haul to rent a unit to me with NO LIGHTING. I had a full truck waiting to be unloaded and had to provide my own battery-operated light to ensure the workers' safety and allow the workers to unload and store my belongings. This delay cost me $350 with the moving company and a half-day in my time!!! Calls were forwarded by the local office to the U-Haul national call center and they were unable to reach a local manager. Their only explanation was that they were waiting for a part, a new sensor. According to another tenant, the lights had not been operational for two weeks. I had rented the unit immediately before I arrived at the local office. They had to have known there was no lighting and rented it to me regardless.
