SHERRI B | Overall ExperienceI’ve rented a climate control unit with the intent to not he deal with pest or rodents. I had the unit a little over a year. When I returned to move my things I was greeted by a unit full of moths.. Breeding in my unit. Now had I known or been advised to use moth bakls in the” climate controlled unit” I would have done so. I had to discard nearly all of my clothes and living ro furniture due the breeding of moths in them. It was very warm inside of the building and the moths were flying all over the second floor.
Quantega H | Overall ExperienceGeneral manager is horrible. Region manager and VP manager are terrible representatives for the company. Not organized. They lie and try to use the system to get over on customers. Rude and disrespectful. Very non professional. They abuse authority. Try to use any location beside the garner, nc one. Plenty of bad reviews on the website about the location and manager! They need a whole new BETTER management team!!

Darlene B | Overall ExperienceMy one and only complaint is that I requested to move out a week before it was set to renew and I even followed up with customer service to make sure it was canceled and it was. Then after the date it was set to renew passed, they started bombarding me with emails about payment for the next month, so I reached out to customer service again, and was told that the complaint would be sent to the location manager. Some time passed and nothing was still done, I was still being flooded with emails and a letter in the mail EVERY WEEK! One more thing and that when I was moving the stuff in, the instructions weren’t very clear and I have never used a U-Haul storage unit before and I’m not sure if I ever will again.
Mackenzie P | Overall Experience/I closed out my storage unit on 10/02/25 and I didnt get my close documents till 10/09/2025. Technically they had my storage active for one week under my name without my knowledge.
AKHILESH G | Overall ExperienceI started out with three storages and now I only have one I would use your storage facilities again but when someone rents a truck for one day and they stay out for extra hour or two they should only be charged for the time of one or two hours and not be charged for a full day that's the only problem that I have with U-Haul that happened to me and I end up paying $155 when I only had the truck extra for one or two hours because of traffic I live in Louisburg and there was an accident and we were not on time I was very very upset and I think you all need to change the guidelines because if I knew that I was going to be charged for a whole another day with insurance I would have just kept the truck for the whole two days I paid for it anyway this is Debbie Perry and this is my truth my number is 919-626-1841 for more questioning and information please do not hesitate to call other than this situation I had three storages for almost a year 11 months I have had no problems but that situation was a real problem for me thank you so much Debbie Perry

Marcus D | Overall ExperienceI would recommend U-Haul to anyone, wonderful company. However Eric Townes is a HORRIBLE HORRIBLE manager! Towards the last two months of having my storage, I would call the store to make payments on my rent & I found out through an associate that worked there he would screen my calls to prevent me from making payments on my rent. He was always rude and unprofessional each time I had to talk to him. As heartbroken I am I lost my storage, I am relieved to not be doing business with an unprofessional manager as Eric Townes.
