Jeff M | Overall ExperienceI was robbed July 9 to 13th time period by your company employee who is the manager Ronda, she is connected to a crime ring in metro halifax . I will be seeing your company and the people involved in theft of my unit that conviently had no video of the theft of all my belongings . Ronda said no video ,no entry to my unit no trace of a truck or entry period .saying that is a big problem. My unit didn't empty itself . Theres a cover up n my lawyer is working on this claim . Who cut the lock off ? Who robbed me ? Where is the camera footage you claim to always have running 24 /7 ? This is theft by your own workers and when this hits the news papers good luck to get anyone to ever rent a unit from u haul Regards , Scott mac lellan
ANDREW S | Overall ExperienceMost staff were great but one lady acted like it was an inconvenience to check me in. She had to be supervised by someone else on several occasions and it took forever. However. The guy who works outside, dark hair and a baseball hat was awesome. 11 out of 10 for him. Overall check-in was fairly easy and the supervisor had things in order. Checking out of a unit I emptied was easy and the person at the desk was great. I think she was a new hire and she was professional and got it sorted with minimal hassle.

Joseph L | Overall ExperienceAfter renting a truck and storage unit at the Bayer’s Lake location for the convenience of cost, I arrived and said the unit size I had booked was unavailable, “just because you can reserve it doesn’t mean we have it” I was told. We had to take a different unit which was outside without climate control because the only similar one to what I had booked would have been on a different floor and significantly smaller. My roommate and I will now be paying an extra cost than originally planned because of the mix-up. Additionally, I booked the U-Haul for pick-up at the same location, but when I arrived I was told it was on a site in downtown Halifax instead. Had I known their booking app was completely unreliable I would have avoided it. In addition, we paid a different fee for the truck, through the app, which covered absolutely none of the cost we had to pay in-office and I’m not sure where the reservation fee went considering our reservations were not even held correctly.
Lorelei S | First Impressionsat check in i was given a card that was under a name that was not mine. each time i opened the storage unit the alarm went off. calling the local office redirected me to a queue that i drove for 40 + miles before it was picked up, only to tell me to return to the local office in the other direction to get it resolved.

Bill P | First ImpressionsThe only issue I had was that my card was issued to another person and storage unit. So each time I opened the unit I was supposed to have, the alarm kept going off. I had to return to the ckeck-out desk for a new card. other than that all was great. Thank you.
