The manager at the time of my visit is very poorly informed on contract law for starters. All she wants you to do is sign the small digital acknowledgment of the contract. How can someone acknowledge and confirm a contractual agreement without ever reading it. She let me know how many years of experience parentheses approximately parentheses that she’s been in the business and that’s not required. I let her know that in order to create a contract one must first have a meeting of the minds. I cannot meet the mind of what the new rules are. Have I not read them. She informed me that it is eight pages long. I said that’s no problem. I will at least skim it. She felt inconvenienced by me asking and said no one does it I said well that doesn’t mean anything, but that doesn’t mean they have a contract with you well she got really angry and impatient at that time. She did print me a copy at which point I did make the minor corrections that needed to be made. I gave her the email address as requested the other statistical information on the contract that was incorrect. But not corrected it then that would also take it out of the contract because it would be all details within the contract that were signed. She did not like my attitude, and I did not like hers. At which point she invited me to leave and take my little business down the road. I probably did and will never be back. What a shameful display of ignorance and arrogance simultaneously If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out to me for any details. I believe that I do have the almost contract on my possession and would be able to give you the dates and times and specific people that I dealt with. Additionally, I would note that I would like any and all digital information regarding that transaction unlimited it under my name so those records are not available for anyone else to review as of this date going forward. I believe that makes it January 11, 2026. There was no point to contact the U-Haul vendor in advance of submitting my complaint. Her indifference and absolute disrespect for a customer was so obvious there is no point in going any further. If I cannot be respected as a customer alone, then I do not need to conduct business at her facility. I have faith in U-Haul as a business, you shouldn’t take a look at your vendors in the local area because they do not know contractual law, and therefore are putting you at risk as the blanket umbrella representing U-Haul with or without abiding agreement Sincerely, Ann k lacey 469.744.8491
