GARY K | ReservationWhat was supposed to be temporary turned into five years of storing our household items and furniture. In all of that time, the unit never flooded, even through some really heavy monsoon seasons. There was never any rodent or insect damage, no mold or mildew, and no break-ins or theft. Everything in the unit was covered with sand and dust, but that's to be expected in the desert and true of any storage! The office staff were always polite, professional, and helpful. They were willing to work with us the few times that we were late with a payment. Move out was a breeze. I recommend this facility for moving and storage needs. I had zero complaints!

One of the staff who was very helpful said she was going to approach the owner about making it right for my lost merchandise and all the owner offered to do was give me a different unit. To me, that is not how you run a business. The owner is the only reason my review reflects negativity, not the staff. I don't recommend renting there because he is not a fair businessman and I will not rent there again because of it.

DEBORAH J | Overall ExperienceMoving is difficult enough without these kinds of issues. I don't want to sound opinionated. Here are the facts: 1) the neighboring unit is leaking some kind of fluid, possibly battery acid into my unit. The amount of dirt entering the unit is unbelievable. My stuff was in the unit for about 3 weeks and dirt covered everything! If you look up you can see light entering the roof area. Not direct light, but secondary light. I'm not sure if rain would be able to enter the unit, since it didn't rain, but definitely loads of dirt entered the unit from the top and from the door area. I put several sleeping bags in front of the door and it only helped a little bit. I also put cardboard boxes on the floor to make it tolerable. The road to the unit, and on the entire property, is like driving through the Grand Canyon. It has serious potholes and damage everywhere.

She then said she could fix it, held me up for over an hour and never fixed anything. I don't recommend the storage or U-Haul

Linda L | Overall ExperienceWe rented our unit for almost three years. The staff is kind, courteous, and professional. The unit was easily accessible and even had doors on both ends, although we only accessed on one side. The entry gate is very wide and we never had issues when pulling our trailer through. Our unit was on the main road after entering the property, so I have no experience with the remainder of the property. There is some deferred maintenance that needs to be addressed with respect to several large potholes that need to be repaired. Also, we had a bit of water damage on a couple of comforters, so inspections of the roofs are probably due. Finally, I would re-rent at Kokopelli Storage if we were moving back to Kingman.
