PAUL B | Overall ExperienceAt the beginning it was a 10 out of 10… What I had a problem with is that when I spoke with the Manager Ronda Percy on 11/3/2025 and inquired about getting the difference BACK after PAYING the monthly fee and getting ALL of my personal belongings OUT of storage unit..Ronda LAUGHED in my face as IF I was a JOKE, stated NO, then HUNG up in my face. On 11/14/2025 as I previously STATED to Ronda, my daughter and I did exactly that, of REMOVING all our PERSONAL belongings out our storage unit, with the HELP of a Moving Company. On 11/14/2025, as I WALKED inside the FRONT entrance of the Facility of where our storage unit it was, I SLIPPED and FELL, due to it RAINING the night BEFORE (with the GROUND still be WET, and NO wet signs in PLACE even IF it was NO water inside the FACILITY, like some other BUSINESSES do), and from the other previous days. The 1st time I FELL on my right knee (which it should be on the Storage’s CAMERAS), when I ATTEMPTED to go upstairs to get prepared to open up our unit for the Moving Company. I had FELL a 2nd time on my left knee, AFTER coming BACK from the Front Office to inform whoever was in the office that we were moving out our storage unit and that I had just FELL after I ATTEMPTED to CALL the front office and NO one ANSWERED the phone, and finding out that an employee Laura was at the front counter assisting customer (which I know that they had to OBSERVE me falling on CAMERA)…Then AGAIN after SEVERAL more fell ATTEMPTS of contacting the Front Office, i contacted their Customer Service Number, and SPOKE with the most CARING and PROFESSIONAL and PHENOMENAL Customer Service Representative- (Mr. Michael Ward) who ACKNOWLEDGED my CONCERNS and was very UNDERSTANDING. When the Moving Company Crew had FINISHED loading ALL of of Personal Belongings, I went BACK into the Front Office and that time it was ONLY Ronda, with her very UNPROFESSIONAL attitude to DOUBLE check and inquired if we had to sign OFF on ANY paperwork stating that our unit was VACANT and Ronda STATED back NO. I also INFORMED Ronda that I had FELL a 2nd time and Ronda’s rude RESPONSE back to me was..”IT’S NOT RAINING”..which I had to INFORM her that it RAINED the night/ early morning BEFORE. To make matters WORSE, I received a NOTIFICATION in my EMAIL on 12/6/2025, STATING that I OWED $224 due to my Storage Unit NOT being PAID. I called Customer Service on that and the Customer Service Representative was PHENOMENAL and UNDERSTANDING as well and made note that we had moved out our unit, with it STILL stating that we weren’t. After requesting the District Manager information, I called him and SPOKE with Beate, who was also UNDERSTANDING to my concerns.. After placing me on hold, which I had to hang up, due to me being at work, Beate LEFT a Voicemail stating that I will RECEIVE a partial payment of $110 on my ORIGINAL payment form, which that was all I was asking of Ronda who is aDECEITFUL, INCOMPETENT, RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL Manager, who LIED to Beate, STATING that we had a LOCK on our storage unit (which I informed Beate that Ronda was LYING and that we have a VIDEO of how we LEFT the storage unit CLEANED). .. I will NEVER refer ANYONE to that LOCATION and we will NEVER use that location IF it comes to us needing one AGAIN. I also want to ADD that, NO wet caution signs were NEVER put down either, as we were Moving out… So to my daughter and I, it ALL about MONEY to Ronda, and not SAFETY concerns about her CUSTOMERS who keeps her BUSINESS open.

I had a horrible experience with public storage and the uhaul crew service was A+. The truly made my experience and moving situation so much better.
