The Lodi staff is great.helpful and very professional and welcoming. Gisela was very friendly and the guys there are knowledgeable and efficient. In and out of there without incident or hiccups. I was there for 2-1/2 years in storage room and 2 U-Boxes after moving from Lodi and to a friend's home in Stockton. Storage was secure and camera monitored onsite. The bathrooms were maintained in the store/office building. Requests for truck rentals were timely.

They kept on not checking their system, didn’t check the storage unit I rent to see it was empty. The calls of to forced to pay a month that was empty. Felt the entire thing was unprofessional and lack of accountability and lack verified to check what I told them.

Cynthia R | Overall ExperienceThere was a time the gates were just open cause all of the keypads were down and all of the doors were unlocked. Then recently I needed help trying to get into my storage when I forgot my key and they didn’t ask for my identification or anything. I ended up finding my key and I appreciated their help but at the very minimum look me up in the system. Same for when I ended my reservation, didn’t ask for my id or anything, just unit number and prompted me with my name.

LANNA B | Overall ExperienceMy storage was a limited stay as the prices increased without cause 😕 and the store manager she didn't care I had been there only 2 months and my rent was increased. The manger told me she would deduct $10.00 off the rent each month after I paid the full balance of $180, however I had to call her each month to get her to deduct the fee. I decided to close the unit as the practice for renting from this U-haul manager sounded super shady. I moved my belongings out with a full week of paid rent and the manager refused to prorate the rent even though I provided my notice to move out. I had to call the U-haul property after the 3rd of September as I had not received a confirmation for the move out. I believe the U-haul company would have charged me again for another month if I had not called looking for my refund. The refund I'll never get back even though I followed their rules. I'll never use the Lodi Cherokee U-haul again, lesson learned the hard way.
ANDREA H | Overall ExperienceThere was a deal for a one month storage rental when renting a trailer, took advantage of it and it worked fantastic for us. Cancelling the storage was completely effortless, no stay hidden traps! And this is why I always come back to U-haul! Oh and the staff at the Lodi Ca store was phenomenal, courteous, and very helpful!
