It would be beneficial if the protocol for closing out a unit was posted throughout the facility, or on the app: i.e. - Take a picture of the empty unit Have photo ID ready Remove lock and return to front desk I searched the app for the steps of closing out a rental and nothing came up

HABIB S | Overall ExperienceAll in all I had a good experience using U-Haul storage until the day I went in to get something out of my unit and there was a double lock on my unit. I always made my payments before my due date. When asked why there was a double lock on my unit I was told they had no idea. When I called to do a complaint it was stated that there was a double lock put on my unit because it was not locked correctly. When I went back to my unit the lock was on the unit correctly so that was a blatant lie. At that point I knew that I did not want to deal with U-Haul anymore and then the rate increase!
