Kyle C | Overall ExperienceU-Haul acquired this facility and immediately doubled my rent. In the same year, my rent went up again yet I saw the same units being advertised for a lot less than I was paying at the same location. I had my unit for only a year. Mice tore through all of my stuff, ate through plastic and pooped on everything. I moved my items to another storage facility.
KARI W | Overall ExperienceI was charged an additional $100 because MY NEIGHBOR through out her trash and left a bunch of stuff by the dumpster. I didn’t leave anything and the manager agreed on that. But she said because I “told them” and showed them where they could leave their trash when it’s aparently not suppose to be left. Even though there’s a donation area that’s been full EVERY SINGLE time I went to my unit full of people’s discarded stuff. I did not tell them nor knew how much stuff they left by the dumpster, I told them they could leave a few things in the donations that people would want and pointed to the signs on the ground that said office this way with an arrow. And told them to follow those signs. And because of that I’m paying for my neighbors trash being left…? When management was there in the office the entire time they were bringing stuff to the dumpster (which is right across the GLASS window facing the donation area & dumpsters). Why didn’t Sammy the manager say “hey stop you can’t leave your trash there” or the other employee??? I’ve never throwing trash out there before however I did not know that that wasn’t a rule because that’s how many people leave trash by the dumpster and leave things to be reused by the donation area and no one told me when I was signing up that you couldn’t leave garbage at the dumpster that are open and not locked. Pretty confusing if you ask me. My entire unit was infested with mice after I brought it to the management attention and said I wanted to move units and that I was scared. It was gonna damage my things. I was told that Samie would call me, but I never heard from her and the following time I returned to my unit, which was two days later everything in my unit was completely covered in feces and urine, and I had to throw out my entire living room, furniture, my bed, my sheets, bedding, pillows, and more. and now I have no furniture at my new apartment and am sleeping on the floor because the staff didn’t care to do anything when I told them. I told them dirt was coming out of a unit and that I saw and my movers saw mice running out of it and into other units. I also showed them the video I recorded of the sound they were making in the units next to me. The rodants/mice were literally knocking over bottles that were not light and empty I could hear. Tearing apart plastic and paper and hissing at eachother… Thats how EXTREMELY infested it was. I filed an insurance claim but I doubt they will do anything . I should be refunded and compensated for all that I lost because they knew about the problem and didn’t do anything about it. And then when I complained try to pin me with that $100 charge…

Charlissa S | First ImpressionsMy experience here was overall pretty good. Unfortunately, mice got into my unit and pooped all over everything. Luckily, they didn't chew anything up except for a few towels. Some of the staff there are not the best... but I had a good experience with the person who processed my move out.

CALVONZO B | Overall ExperienceThe girl that helped me seem more interested I told her I wanted the unit that I came to visit and she didn’t give it to me, but it was still available. First she even put me on the wrong floor then once everything was done, she didn’t give me the lock or explain it to me so I had to come back and get it. She didn’t give me a map and I couldn’t find my storage unit for 15 minutes 2026 it’s in an awkward location in a corner. I can’t wait to be done using the storage and I would never use it again.

JOVAN F | Overall ExperienceI have been in this facility before U-Haul took it over. Under U-Haul, I found it frustratingly difficult to speak to a manager, although the Manager (Sammi) was available to help me when I checked out of my storage unit. Specifically, I had questions about billing that I could not get answered, in person (unempowered young people on duty who couldn't help), by phone (left VM but never a reply), Email to the GM of the store, or Corporate. Corporate could not look up my account and answer my questions, and left the local facility a VM to contact me, which of course they never did. Maybe with all the trucks, management is spread too thin? Also, I had a serious rodent infestation problem which is ultimately what made me choose to leave. Apparently a unit nearby is storing food, but in any case ALL my stuff on EVERY shelf had significant amounts of mouse turds covering them, and when I moved everything out, there were literally piles of mouse droppings so thick that it looked like dirt. I would never keep my family heirlooms or anything of value in such a a facility.
ANDREW M | Overall ExperienceThis place has rats. Some of the storage spaces have food or grains spilling into the hallways. I checked out like someone on the helpline told me to. I still get bills with an added late fee. Communication is very poor. When I first came to the space after setting it up over the phone, communication was horrible. I ended up spending a ridiculous amount of time in the parking lot. Past 2am because I couldn’t get into the space as the helpline instructed. I would not consider renting storage from U-Haul again. As well I will not rent trucks from U-haul again.

STEVEN K | Overall ExperienceMy new unit 1205 has a broken metal stip hanging from the ceiling to the floor, it doesn’t make the space unusable, just dangerous in that corner?
MARK W | First ImpressionsRates more than double at any given time during your lease. The elevators and garage doors were constantly broken. It was a gamble that someone was in the office even if it was during office hours. When I tried to close out my unit and handed in my keys in person they told me I was all set and didn’t need to do anything else. I got an email 3 weeks later that rates were increasing effective that day and I had to call to let them know I had already turned in my keys and cleaned out my unit, otherwise I would have been charged for an empty unit I didn’t have access to any more.

eric R | First ImpressionsIn renting a truck, I was sent an agreement to rent a storage unit. It wasn’t clear I had done that until a month later when they tried billing me a monthly rate on a storage unit I didn’t even know I had… The truck was also terrible but it got us from point A to point B intact.
