The managers attitudes at 370 Orange St Newark, NJ 07107 United States location is disgusting. Over the phone & in person. This is a establishment where most people have to acquired a storage because they have things they want to keep but might not have the best situation to house them etc. most people come in looking for help and a positive environment when dealing with having to acquire a storage unit. They did not want to help I had to go to this nice young lady to handle my account and renting a vehicle because when I asked the main manger for assistance so brushed me off & directed me to the young staff member while she browsed on the Internet for personal use. The younger staff members should be promoted to a mangers position. They responded and helped me out easily& quickly. They made me feel welcome and stress free about handling my unit and the rental. This is not the first time I’ve been to this location and have had this issue, many others have as well. So since I decided to close my unit I had, I felt the need to share this, those two women as managers at this location need to be retrained or fired. Thank you I hope this is taken highly because that U-Haul location is very nice but the management is not. I wish the younger staff members the best ! They are a blessing

Malika H | Overall ExperienceI wish they had hand trucks or bigger flat bed dolly’s. I had a one bedroom truck and it took me over two hours to unload it using the small flatbed dollies they had available. I also didn’t like to be constantly scanning my card just to get to the elevator.

Five stars was because the size of the storage units are not as accurate as you think they are. The unit I reserved first was for a one to two bedroom apartment. It was more suited for a one bedroom apartment. The customer service representative at the desk help me get a larger unit that fit my needs and was very knowledgeable and courteous to me and my family.

Especially at peak customer volume. The workers are stressed because they are servicing way to many customers simultaneously but still they provide the very best service and are professional always.
