The staff and manager of the Medicine Hat location went above and beyond for me. I was absolutely amazed at how the manager that assisted me with receiving a refund was so kind, so knowledgeable and professional. I could write pages of all the ways she helped me, from walking through the cold snow to help me figure out the card swiping system (locking keypads), to helping me select the right storage size for my needs, to receiving a refund when I realized I booked for the wrong date; all of this done with such compassion and genuine care. She and all other staff were absolutely incredible at what they do (with special emphasis on the manager). For such a young lady, she is truly wise and has incredible customer service skills (very good with people and doing business). I will be renting in the near future, on the right date, truly because of this exceptional service that I was provided. A+++. Thank you for being there for me; I now fully trust U-Haul to be my ongoing storage provider.

Gerry B | First ImpressionsIf you want to protect your belongings, avoid this location. My storage unit had multiple holes, and I was told it was “no big deal” and just from the ground shifting. Because of that, mice got into everything. Nearly all my items were contaminated with droppings and urine and had to be thrown away. Extremely disappointing experience.

david h | Overall ExperienceAfter being a long-term customer I did not appreciate the threat of my storage unit being auctioned off, if I became 30 days late of payment. I feel this is very harsh. Everything else at the Medicine Hat Location on Hwy 1 was exceptional. However I will never deal with the corporation U-Haul.
