U-Haul does need to fix one problem. Your company's software is slow. When staff has to prepare documents, a customer has to wait in-office. It took nearly one-hour for me to officially check-out of two storage rooms I rented for one month. It was not the fault of staff. Otherwise, U-Haul provides solid customer service.

Thomasina D | Overall ExperienceI reserved my space online. When I arrived to look at the unit before moving items, the code I was emailed didn't work. I went into the office to speak with the rep at the counter and let him know my situation. He didn't say much but handed me a card to gain access and how to use it. I was able to get in. I was aware my unit was on the second floor, but there was no elevator. When I opened my unit, trash from the previous tenant and the top was chain link fence (not a solid ceiling) with trash on top of it. This wouldn't work for me. I went back to the office and explained I could't use a unit upstairs without an elevator. There was space on the ground floor however it was more expensive. Based on the condition of the upstairs unit, I decided this wasn't the facility for me. I thanked the gentleman and he canceled my unit. I now know why the space was so inexpensive.
