1. The facility was well lit but not secure. The gates were often open due to malfunction allowing anyone onto the premises, the card reader was very finicky requiring multiple swipes and always difficult to reach from the drivers window without having to open the car door. Outside gate access area is cramped, too close to the highway, and parked U-Haul trucks occasionally blocked the access way inside the gate. 2. The staff were at times helpful and friendly but at other times could not answer basic questions about procedure, pricing, unit availability, and/or appeared too busy to help. 3. The facility was clean but not well maintained. Various unit doors evidenced damage without repair. Ropes for lifting the unit doors were never replaced after rotting out, even though notice was given of such. Rodents were problematic in winter prohibiting safe storage of perishables. On the plus side, the outdoor restroom was very welcome to have and was kept clean, and the facility location as a whole is very convenient. 4. Constant unjustified annual price increases without evidence of maintenance improvements prevent me from recommending this location to a friend, even though the facility was functionally very adequate and proximate for my storage needs over nearly 5 years. I had items stolen from both units. I moved from one to another , intentionally to double check my items. Now that I moved out entirely I noticed more items of value gone. We also rented a van and was overcharged. I suppose stolen items and overcharged van rental is justified because I was late on payments and had to settle.
