Did the mobile pick up for the pickup truck and while doing it the truck was given to another customer and when I walked in it too over 35 minutes to assign me to another pickup and the employee seemed under trained for the situation.Andrew L.

Having to wait for Uhaul to contact other people to verify as you are picking up the vehicle is ridiculous. It should be done ahead of time. The store I went to did not have blankets waiting in the vehicle so I had to go inside to wait for help. What is the point of using the â€˜just drive away' feature if it doesn't work?JONATHAN B.

I was charged an $8,25 bogus fuel charge. I tried to call the local office. As usual, nobody answered. I was transferred to the corporate waiting line. To complain I waited on line 20 minutes and gave up. I was a loyal customer. Your customer service is terrible. With what you charge, you should be able to afford sufficient phone reps. You also not pad the bill with bogus fuel charges. I returned the van with the exact same fuel guage readiing as when I rented it.JAMES W.

The real problem was 2days before when I reserved a rental one uhaul rented my truck to someone else I drove from Pasadena to Hollywood no truck reserved truck again no one showed up for work finally 3rd day got a vehicle so uhaul is not reliable at allTONYA W.

This is my second time having bad experience with this location. First time was with them trying to install my a "pigtail" wiring for my prius prime. What a diseaster! After going back 3 times, they still could get it right. Subsequently, they just ignore your request for repair and their technicians was always "not available" with appointments. Would not recommend them for installing wiring for a trailer. They don't know how to do it and they are not honest and upfront with it. I have been to a lot uhual locations and this local is the worst for installing "pigtail" wiring. Second experience was this past week when I returned a truck that I was told to return to the nearest Uhual and I got charge extra for it. The dropoff was not late and the desk clerk could not reverse the charges. What a lame excuse!JOHN N.

When I returned the rented vehicle that I had rented for 24 hours (on the saturday-sunday of losing an hour because of daylight saving time), I was 30 minutes early, despite having the van for technically only 23 hours. However, the attendant told me that he would have to check in a slew of vehicles first before he could get to mine. So I told him that I needed it to be known that I was on time with my return. He said not to worry, he wouldn't charge me any late fees. I asked for a receipt of the total charges, he said I would get an email later that day. Silly me, I left, thinking I could trust this guy. When I did receive the email, I had been charged for another whole day, plus the maximum amount they could possibly charge for mileage. I called customer service the same day. After waiting on hold for 30 minutes, someone was finally able to help me. When she kept saying "one moment please, let me look that up" (at least 10 times) I lost my temper. In the end, it was determined that I was owed a refund for that extra charge. However, they still went ahead and charged my card for the full amount, which I technically did not authorize, since, upon return, the attendant said everything was OK and that I would receive said bill in the email. As of this writing, I still have not received the credit for the $85 they overcharged me. Very disappointing experience. Too bad they're the only game in town!MERCEDES C.

I think it's a great U-Haul location and do not think it needs any particular improving. The fellow who runs it helped me out SO much about 6 weeks ago when I had trouble with wiring for a trailer I rented. It was an emergency for me and he gave me top priority to solve my problem and get me on the road. I have been telling friends that I hardly ever meet anyone in business as nice and helpful as the man who runs the U-Haul on Lincoln in Altadena CA. And my latest experience there last week was once again very good. Thanks, U-Haul!PAUL D.
Ratings based only on interaction with new site manager (Logan). Even though staff had been nice during previous visit, hoping new management will help build and provide better guidance on how to obtain excellent customer service and important critical thinking skills dealing with different situations. Overall majority of U-Haul staff (Altadena & Pasadena (So Raymond) are great and dedicated to their work however it's obvious U-Haul â€˜Corp' does not provide the required support, training and pay for their employees to meet the demand and satisfaction of it's customers. Upper management & Executive level need to do better for site location staff than just putting money in their pockets.PAMELA B.
