The location was wonderful and the people were very helpful but i can't recommend to anyone that they rent from U-Haul, so long as the policy is in place that the company can change the location of pick up and drop off whenever it likes without regard to the original agreement to drop off the truck at a certain location. I had a full day scheduled and my plan was ruined due to having to drive to another city to drop off my truck. As the customer, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect that a company that I am paying for a service should not change the plans they made with me without letting me agree to those changes first.

My high rating is due to the help of a young man named Vicente. I arrived about 1 minute after 7 and I was told previously by a phone operator that I had to unhitch and check myself in if I was after 6:45. I am almost 80 and pulling a trailer is hard enough without having to unhitch it and do checkout on a phone. I received no help or sympathy from the lady on the phone when I called to say I was almost there but couldn't make it by 6:45. When I arrived, this young man just happened to be parking a truck in the yard and saw my dilemma and came to my rescue. He backed up the trailer, unhitched it, and said he would check it in. I hope he is not in any trouble because I was told 6:45 was the deadline. I had no place to park the trailer overnight and driving all day from AZ made it hard to gage the time. I was in tears, but this man sent me away in smiles. There needs to be more of this type of caring individual in the world. He said he had just started to work at uhaul. You need to keep him. He is a jewel and my rating on this survey would be very different if not for him.

The gas guage was off in my van. Luckily I had the receipt for the gas I put into the tank before returning it so, calculating mileage against my gas purchase, the UHaul van actually was fuller than when I rented it! No worries, all was taken care of without problems. I will rent again from this location next time.

U-haul has taken a turn to the worst. Cheating customers to maximize on profits. I needed a truck for a short period of time just to go to a store a few miles away but it was late so when I rented the truck I was told they had one truck available but they needed it back in the morning, I told them I worked and I could have it back within 24 hours, they said it was not an option. so I agreed and waited for them to bring the truck, one employee yelled to the person helping me telling her that the truck she brought around had a broken A/C and told her she should rent out another truck. "Another truck?" I thought that was the only one available. so she asked me if I really needed A/C, that should not even be a question to ask a paying customer. At this point I am not happy because I have to pay for a full day and yet I have to have the truck back within a few hours. Without me saying anything the agent said now this one you really need to bring it back tonight, now mind you it is close to 8pm and they close soon. I said so I did not have to return the other truck really? she said yes you did. ( yeah right) now I know this is a scam these guys are telling customer to return the trucks within a few hours and charging them a full day to get maximum out of their inventory. Then she tells me that when I return the truck I would have to use the mobile app to return the truck if not I would get charged an additional $20. so I bring back the truck around 10:30 pm, I open the mobile app and put in my info , there are no records of my rental agreement. so I try a few times and nothing. I call the number on the contract and I get someone to walk me through the process and they can't figure it out, so they transfer me to the share support team , so needless to say after waiting over half an hour in the u-haul parking lot by this time it's 11:30 close to midnight they tell me I need to put in the contract number where the name goes and other fields on the app to be completed with other information. so by the time I was done there it was past midnight and then the support member tells me he notated the account that it did not work but he was going to change it from his end and gave me another to do like I have nothing to do with my time. He told me that I had to call U-haul in the morning and let them know that I had returned the truck. my suggestion to you if you want to be fair to your customers is prorate the rental hours, or do not rent out trucks if they really are not available. change he way you have the drop off . value your customer's time.
