Ratings based only on interaction with new site manager (Logan). Even though staff had been nice during previous visit, hoping new management will help build and provide better guidance on how to obtain excellent customer service and important critical thinking skills dealing with different situations. Overall majority of U-Haul staff (Altadena & Pasadena (So Raymond) are great and dedicated to their work however it's obvious U-Haul ‘Corp' does not provide the required support, training and pay for their employees to meet the demand and satisfaction of it's customers. Upper management & Executive level need to do better for site location staff than just putting money in their pockets.

Lower your prices. .79 a mile is insane. Especially with you Having the customer check themselves in. You're paying less for your employees that are no longer doing that job. With price gouging like that your days are numbered.

Our rental was back late from another customer, and we were not notified prior to driving across town to the Altadena location for pickup, and waiting in line for some time. Then we had to wait another hour for the truck to arrive, completely throwing off our tight moving day schedule. The personnel were unhelpful and acted as if they couldn't care less. We will not be using Uhaul again.

The lady and the man who set me up with the trailer and the man who checked me in were both exceptional. Very nice.

It was out of the way for me...I was not informed until 3 days out...The staff seemed indifferent to my inconvenience. Very poor service. I am in the service business and if we make a mistake by overbooking we pay for it...I don't see that happening with U-Haul. If this is not rectified, I will not utilize U-Haul in the future.

I received bad service from the lady who receives customer inquiries in this location and was over charged for extra 30 miles that I didn't consume. I had to go back to fix this problem since no one answers my phone call and was transferred to the general customer service. Overall the staff needs training.

I love this location, but the truck was not in good shape. Rear tire was low pressure and engine light came on. My prior experiences have been very positive and customer service is otherwise exceptionally great.

The left rear tire had very low tire pressure when the truck was delivered to me. I had to wait for them to find the tire gauge in order to put air in the tire. The trucks tire pressure system was malfunctioning as well. The same tire was low the next morning. The manager said the problem was with the trucks system. Not true. I could have had an accident with the tire.

When returning the truck the Uhaul employee would not help me and told me to use the app. When I asked him if I would have to download the App on my phone I asked if we could return it without downloading a UHaul App. He said no. I left the keys with him. I do not consider this professional.

I booked online as a contactless pick up, but when I went to get the keys, when I picked up the vehicle, the attendant said there were 2 bookings and he would correct them. They were not adjusted. I was double billed. I had to wait 15 min to pick up keys. the truck had dirty front windows and low tire pressure. i rented the truck for a little over an hour. when i returned the key, there was still a long line and the attendant said I could leave the key with him and he would check me in a soon as possible. when I received my bill the next day, I was not checked in until after 5pm, and was billed 2 rental periods, and 2 CDW. I called reservations on 12/27, and explained the situation and was told the manager would call me back. No one called. I called reservations again on 12/29 and was told the same story. I called customer service, and they were not able to reach the manager at that location and again I was told that "someone would get back to me in 72hrs" I disputed the charge on my credit card and hope to get it resolved. So far, I've spent 3 hours on hold with u-haul.

Very fast, very helpful. Some customers are always slowing these guys down. I am at this location a few times through the year and I will say it is one of the better in the greater LA area

Long wait - when i arrived at the appointed time no one was in the office for 15 minutes (by the clock). All told it was 45 minutes from my arrival before I was able to leave - and that was with as much pre work being done as possible. Equipment didn't work - the wiring harness was worn and frayed and so the lights didn't work. I asked for an adjustment but Caleb said no way, take the trailer as is or go away. No other wiring harnesses available at U Hall. No furniture dolly: I reserved a furniture dolly and was charged for one. One was not available so i had to ask for a refund. Other than that - the trailer itself did the job. We moved the piano and returned it in 3 hours.

Was not greeted even after I greeted the employee . Was not walked to my van is that normal. Have me directions and I was on my own to figure out which one, how to operate etc. just poor customer service . Same when I came back . Will not come again nor recommend - should take after the location on Raymond which I normally go to

The truck we rented had to be taken back because it started to shake very bad when we went over 30 miles per hour. It was a terrible experience and made me very nervous. We had to drive very slow when driving back to uhaul.


The charger didn't work therefore my cellphone went dead i was unable to use my GPS so I got lost .. which resulted in me paying for more sucks! Someone should have told me before I drove off.
