They charged me extra 70 dollars. The truck was dirty, messy, and was a lot of dirt in the cargo area. The guy who checked me in tried to blame me for it and charge me for a cleaning fee, and I told them I got the truck in that condition, if I didn’t take pictures he would have still charged me. I had to go out in gas as the gas was only a quarter tank, I’m not really trippin off the gas but still. I asked for a paper receipt and he insisted on email receipt, I stated I wanted a paper copy, he gave me attitude about it and said I’d have to wait a couple mins just to print the receipt. Upon looking at the receipt, I saw I was charged an extra 70 dollars and he played dumb and said that it’s my banks fault, I then proceeded to say my bank has nothing to do with the extra charge coming from “Mr Telephone Man U-Haul” he said he’ll have a manager call me to discuss it. I still haven’t received a call or refund. I’ll give it a week and if the refund isn’t there then I’ll contact corporate. All in all, I definitely will not return to this U-Haul, I’ve never been charged for the miles before even using the truck. I’ve never had to pay it before so idk what was the deal this time.
