I recently visited this location to rent a trailer for a short, 12-hour use. When I arrived, the attendant inside was on the phone and did not acknowledge me for over 10 minutes, which set a poor tone from the start. I declined the optional insurance, as I’ve done many times at other U-Haul locations without issue. However, this location made it unnecessarily uncomfortable. The employee inside lectured me about the consequences of declining coverage and emphasized that I was being recorded. I fully understand the risks and found the approach unprofessional and excessive. Outside, a different staff member helped me hook up the trailer, and he was courteous and helpful. Unfortunately, another employee—sitting in a nearby vehicle—continually micromanaged him and, at one point, shouted, “Make sure you get tons of pictures because he doesn’t have insurance.” That comment was unnecessary and disrespectful. I was already aware of my decision and didn’t need to be called out in that way. The facility itself was fine, and the equipment worked as expected, but the staff’s approach—particularly their attitude toward customers declining insurance—was disappointing. A little professionalism and respect would go a long way.

Site pickup was great. U-Haul corporate computer system was down nationally. U-Haul corporate needs to ensure there is an alternate way for people to check out a trailer when the system goes down in order to not inconvenience the customer. U-Haul must have the ability to use old school contracts when computer services are incapacitated.
Eric HWorst U-haul experience EVER! The office stunk like rat urine/feces. The lady stunk like the aforementioned. No one to help put the 6x6x12 onto my jeep. The office lady came out and we finally were able to lift the tongue off the ground. I am 77 years old and a month out of major surgery. On the return, again, no one to help take the U-haul off the hitch on my jeep. I had to walk all over the field where the trailer was to be parked to find 2x6 and concrete blocks to put under the tongue, while still on the jeep, then use my jeeps spare tire jack, again on blocks I had to scrounge from around the field, in order to lift the trailer tongue off the ball. Terrible service…just terrible.
JAMES WThe lady at this location was extremely friends and helpful. On her end there was nothing she could do but explained the situation and that the latch had been broken and the lock we could not remove due to the damage they did trying to remove the lock.
CYNTHIA YGreat! I think when you become a customer constantly, we need to be compensated with some discounts or lower the rate . I
