Stop false advertising. Sat outside for 25 minutes doing mobile check in only to he told I have to go in -25 mins. later. Plus I scheduled truck for 2 hrs., paperwork said 1 hr & 1/2, I supposed it was changed by the staff when I went inside, but had to call and say I need the full 2hrs! Was 15mins late due to traffic - several lights were out and was charged double. $76 for 2hrs & 15 mins. & a total of 7 miles. NEVER AGAIN!

The service clerk verifying my order and discussing my issue was by far one of the most professional individuals I have ever dealt with in the service industry. Although she could not provide an immediate solution, she was quick to empathize and promised me Mr. Spotts would be contacting me. This representative has ensured a U-Haul customer for life. Unfortunately, I do not remember her name. But it certainly speaks to the culture and climate being produced at the location.

Represented they had a car carrier and did not. Spent more than 2 hours there and left with truck only. Staff confused as to securing a carrier from another location and proper billing. Had to drive to another location for carrier. All in all, took almost 1/2 day to rent a truck and car carrier.

The employee's were good but the leadership were unmotivated and unorganized or just absent.

It was a location that was not evident it was a drop off location. I had to call u haul to make sure they actually completed our return. Then on 9/17 I received an email that i did not return the truck. Nobody seems to know why. My credit card was charged back on 8/13. I called your customer service dept and they could not explain it. They did state the truck was returned. Somebody needs to address your lack of completing a return.

We arrived at the drop of location and the attendant there was unhelpful she didn't show me where the unit was she took me to the 4th floor I couldnt get back down. She was rude wouldn't show me how to use the elevator. Also my unit was all the way in the back. I don't remember this person's name. For that reason I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone. The woman is dark skinned and reassembles a crack head and had braids.

I am not sure how this location is making any money for UHaul. In the hour (yes, a full hour) that we were there to simply pick up a trailer we had reserved, we witnessed numerous employees just not doing anything and refusing to help each other or customers. It often took 4-6 employees to have a long, drawn out and circuitous conversation before anyone could answer questions. One employee shouted "if you have express check out, you don't have to wait in line". So we completed express check out and went out to the ramp and the attendant said "Ummm, I don't know what to do with that, go wait in line again". It took a full hour and there were only 2 people ahead of us in line! So it wasn't even that busy, it was just poorly run. Finally, the only two employees who seemed to be doing any real work (Henry and the Manager whose name I did not catch) called us out of line to the back office to handle our simple trailer reservation. To reiterate, the manager and Henry were wonderful and quite possibly the only two people who even bothered to look like they were busy. Other employees were talking about lunch, complaining about being at work, and shirking responsibilities by saying to customers "I don't know, you have to ask so and so". No one was friendly, no one was greeting customers and no one was taking control of the situation as people were understandably growing more and more frustrated. We will do everything in our power to not have to return to this location which is a true shame because it's in our neighborhood. Get it together. We wish you the best in your efforts.

The employees were detailed and informative, Tiffany made this unexpected last minute truck rental a breeze. Loved the whole experience.

1-Hire more cashiers , as we waited an hour to be helped and there was only 1 person ahead of us.

Person behind the counter seemed more interested in solving or directing others, instead of getting me checked out and on my way. Not very informative when I asked questions, again very distracted. I fully understand and appreciate multi-tasking, but not the correct way to go about it when you have a customer standing in front of you and they stop and start the checkout process multiple times.

Super ghetto.. rude and unprofessional employees behind the desk not to mention they can't even articulate. Outside employees were pleasant and respectful. Rating based on reception and departure which had to do with inside employees.

Made sure the People put in the right information we you return the truck

My rating isn't as much for this location as it is for the company as a whole. In fact, the employees here did the best they could given the circumstances. They are understaffed and undertrained, and as a result I had a total of two and a half hours of wait between my two visits yesterday for my two U-Boxes. No one knew what was going on, and I was told more than once to do something that another employee told me was a bad idea, including bringing one of the boxes to a location it couldn't fit into. But, this wasn't an exceptional experience; every U-Haul location I've ever been to has operated just like this. This is obviously a corporate problem, and until the company invests in sufficient hiring and proper training for its stores, it will continue to be like this.

The safety belt in the truck did not function properly and the "check engine" indicator stayed lit. I was not able to use the truck.

My Experience at Uhaul Peter street was nothing short of HORRIC!! I was denied rental because my phone was dead and the agent insisted that if she could not call my phone she could not rent to me. To my surprise... because I had rented from this place over 6 time on 7 months. To add insult to injury, the next two customers that were Caucasian we’re NOT ASK FOR PHONE VERIFICATION IN ORDER TOVRENT. I videotaped the two customers after me who were NOT put through the same agivation I endured! I felt discriminated against! When I ask for the manager George he refused to come. He sited he was in a different part of the building assisting another customer. And the agent was following her duties.. I ask for consideration as a manager who I had deal with before when the truck I rented broke down... After waiting for almost an hour the manager NEVER SHOWED UP! This was an experience I would not wish on anyone. I will seek legal action!!! Peter street staff need training on how to handle recu good customers!!! Uhaul has built a solid reputation but it is being deteriorated by employees that are NOT PROFESSIONAL!!
