I drove straight from Atlanta to the pick up house, to the drop off point in Savannah, gas station and the drop off point and still had to pay for 18 miles over. The customer could be asked an approximate estimate of the distance between pick up point to house or drop off to house. Overall my service was excellent at this location.

There were 3 people waiting in line behind a customer being taken care of and the general manager didn't make any effort to help the customers in line. In fact he didn't even acknowledge anyone. Instead he was standing to the side of the counter basically just gossiping with another employee. After about five minutes of this both of them then just walked off without offering any assistance to anyone. Finally another employee came back inside and was very helpful as was the one employee already assisting the first customer in line.

I don't know wat you can do for the next customer, but as for me I paid this u-haul location every month to store my things and they ruined the U-box my stuff was in and ruined my things and the whole facility acted like they didn't care and no one wanted to tell me what happened to our things I am from Minnesota and have never seen a place run so terrible this would have never happened at a U-haul in MN the people are involved i'm still waiting to hear from a manager I wouldn't advise anyone to store anything here hell the boy didn't even know how to drive the forklift i'm so mad I could cry $119 dollars a month I paid these people to ruin my things I will be getting a lawyer cause this is highly uncalled for I hate the U-haul facility in Atlanta on Peter St.

Trailer was muddy, The Equipment should be washed before rental. The destination for drop off was closed and their contact info was not accurate in your system. I was unable to let anyone know that I turned in the trailer and your customer service had to call them to see if it was checked in. So you need to update you logistics for trailers.

Rented a 15 foot truck, got upgraded to a 17 foot truck because they don't carry 15. Went to pick up, got truck after waiting for awhile. Get truck home and the ramp will not extend. Call Uhaul, they say they have no idea what to do, take it back to the store. Upon arrival at the store, no one is out front so I left the truck out front to run in and see what I needed to while. After again waiting in a long line, Uhaul needs to check to make sure I'm not stupid and verify the ramp is, in fact, broken. Meanwhile they have checked the broken truck in (it was gone 30 minutes) and have now charged my card for the full rental adding gas charge for the tune of $90 (this truck traveled a total of 6 miles). Nevermind the fact that I'm paying movers that can't do anything because the broken truck has to be returned which turned into a 2 hour ordeal. So at this point we've got a total of 3 hours ($60x2 for 2 movers to help move stuff an hour for 3 hours.) That puts me at about a $450 moving ticket for a truck and movers and I haven't even loaded anything yet. Awesome. So now I have the new truck that the ramp works on, we get everything moved and return the truck the next afternoon with more gas than stated, because you know this interaction has been terrible thus far, gotta make sure everything is good on my end. Return the truck, no problem with the gas, but BOOM we get charged twice for that truck. Alright, so we've been charged 3 times for a total of about $240 to rent a truck that went 40 miles. $29 + 40 miles has now cost me about $600. Moral of the story, this is a terrible Uhaul store and you should actually leave the Uhaul website and go with Budget or anyone else really. End of the day we have been "waiting on the store to call back" for nearly a week and I have contacted them numerous times with the response "we'll instantly message the store and I would receive a call back immediately. Incorrect, they never call back, and we ended up having to dispute the charges on the credit card to get things handled. What a joke, run away as quickly as possible or you're going to have a bad time.

Could not get a proper quote in writing. The first quote I received was completely wrong so needed to start a new reservation. I spoke with at least three different employees at this location and all quoted me differently. It was a straight forward weekly rental of a cargo van. When my employee picked up the van the price was different than the quote. When it was returned I had been promised a refund on mileage not used and then we never received the refund. When trying to reach the branch no one answered. I finally reached the general manager of the branch last Friday and he said he would get back to me. I've not heard from him since. Really frustrating.

Although my experience at this location was a good one, the events that led to me renting from this location was horrible. I initially had a reservation for a pick-up truck and AT at the 2505 Candler Road location. The customer service was absolutely horrible! First off they were extremely slow and only once person act the counter at noon on a Saturday!! When i arrived to pick up my rentals i was told that i had to supply my own ball and hitch. I refused to purchase them in the store because i had several already at home. The customer service rep. said she would put my reservation on hold to allow me to go home and return with my ball and hitch. When i returned approx. 1.5hrs later because this location was not in close proximity to my house (this is where UHaul scheduled me to pick up when i made the reservations the day before) the new customer service rep (the initial person that assisted me had gone for the day or was at lunch or something.....i really don't know where she was, i just know she wasn't at the counter nor did she return while I was there) told me they had no trucks available. I asked for the manager and she (Crystal) basically told me it was my fault they rented my reserved truck to someone else because I took too long to return. Are you kidding me?!?!? Needless to say UHaul at 2505 Candler Rd. has seen the last of me and friends and family will be warned to steer clear of this location.

The desk staff needs to be increased. They definitely need more than two people working the desk and trucks at all times. Now I have the exact same thing four times since 2004. Now when is corporate (who is housed in the building ) going to address it?

Very pleasant experience. The only thing there needs to be improvements on is speed to customer. It didn't seem as though it was the employees it seemed to be the network that was causing the delays. Parking is ridiculous ! Returning equipment is bothersome as well. Poor attention to customer needs. Chaos!!!
