LAWRENCE FJamal was great. HOWEVER I was told when I arrived that they didn't have the hand truck, furniture dolly or furniture blankets I reserved because this location is mainly for storage. Why wasn't I informed of this possibility? I would've called to check. So I spent hours on the phone & driving around trying to find the needed equipment & was told none of them had it between where I picked up the truck nor near where I was going (30 miles away). I finally found a hand truck at a location near where I was going that someone had just turned in & had to purchase a furniture dolly from Walmart, but by then, what I needed the truck & equipment for WAS CLOSED. Then when I called UHAUL I was told UHAUL DOESN’T GUARANTEE the equipment you reserve, it's 1st come 1st served, so WHY ALLOW ME TO MAKE A RESERVATION & at the very least why not inform.the customer? I spent $200 on the truck, buying equipment & gas for nothing. What's worse is that I had to do it all over again, plus take a day off work 3 days later.
RENEE LI was moving a refrigerator and I had reserved an appliance dolly. When I arrived, I was told that they did not have any appliance dollies available. That’s a big problem when you were trying to move a 300 pound refrigerator! I had to spend an extra 30 bucks and lots of driving around to go to Home Depot to get an appliance dolly, which was very time-consuming and added more cost. U-Haul needs to have appliance dollies available if you reserve one on their site!
THEODORE MRented a Uhaul truck and Xavier and the whole team was very friendly and helpful in getting me setup and out the door. 10/10 experience
