There’s so much more to the story. I spoke to your customer service and was expecting a call back, but that never happened either. I had one bad experience after another during this entire reservation process, but I don’t believe anybody cares at U-Haul because I have made it known at multiple locations and I called the customer service line and was expecting a call back. You guys told me that you record every call so that you could improve your service but apparently you don’t listen to the calls. How disappointing. TIMOTHY SThe truck was mostly clean, but it smelled like someone smoked a whole carton of cigarettes in it. Also, the inside handle on the driver door was filled with a liquid. Presumably (hopefully) it was water but it’s pretty disgusting when you try to close the door and your fingers get wet. Also, the guys working behind the desk weren’t exactly eager to help. Their system was down and app wasn’t letting me pick up the car. They seemed like they couldn’t really be bothered. Wound up calling the 800 number. Lastly, the moving pads I ordered weeks ago weren’t in the truck and they claimed they didn’t have any.
