***BEWARE*** The negative reviews are accurate. If I could give zero stars, I would. This owner is unprofessional and dishonest. He charged for moving pads and a Dolly that I did not receive. I did not order or ask for pads. They were not needed. We only moved a crates from Stacked! We did want a dolly but upon arrival, he informed me that he didn’t have any and that he wasn’t charging me. When I realized later it was on my bill as well as a $10 charged (I found out that was the pads), I messaged him via text and sent a screen shot. He didn’t respond. It was after hours so it wasn’t a big deal. I figured it was a mistake and we could take care of it at return. Ha!! When I got to the location around 6am, the gate was closed and locked! I waited around thinking he was just late arriving. I went over the the gas station next door because I didn’t want to just sit in front of the entry. Tried calling him a few times no answer. Returned back and tried calling again and he finally answered. He sounded asleep. I informed him that the gate was locked. He told me to just leave it at the gate. I’m thinking 1. This is dangerous. 2. It’s not secure. However, he’s the owner so who am I to question his business. Thank God the security guard who works at the automotive place was there and coming to the front. He remembered me from yesterday. He called me over to the gate as I was about to hop in my Lyft and informed me that I could not leave the truck there because it would be towed and I would be responsible and he point blank stated that the owner “knows that”! He had a few choice words about him and his lack of business ethics and professionalism. He was kind enough to open the gate for me to leave the vehicle. Shortly past 8, I received a notification of almost $200 being charged to my account. My total should’ve been around $63 bucks if he’d taken off the $7 for the dolly and the $10 pads (neither of which we received). I called him to find out what the extra charges were. He answered and stated that I needed to call 1-800-U-Haul. I didn’t think much of it. I just thought only they could handle issues. I called the number and the rep explained that he checked it in after 8am (I returned it at 6 per my contract but was not able to get in the gate until around 6:20-6:30. I immediately left in my Lyft and I have documentation from Lyft showing that!); he charged me for extra time; he charged another $15 for the insurance; he charged for the pads and the dolly. U-Haul tried calling him and he didn’t answer. The rep said that he was sending to management and to allow at least 24 hours for them to respond. They responded the same day and removed the frivolous charges. We also discovered that I accidentally left our keys in the cupholder as I was trying to move quickly so that the security guard, who was visibly frustrated with the U-Haul owner, could leave. I notified UHaul because the owner blocked my number- I’m guessing he do so after I called to ask about the extra charges. My husband called as well as my daughter and both of their calls would result in the phone ringing awhile and then going to voicemail. However, whenever I called, it was immediately go to voicemail. He actually told the UHaul team that the keys were returned which was false. I’m certain that he won’t return the keys and probably has thrown them away. That’s fine. We can get copies made. Save yourself the headache and do not rent from this location if possible. There is one nearby with a ton of trucks. I booked at the last minute and didn’t pay attention to reviews until I was on hold with U-Haul afterwards! I will add that he was not rude to me on the phone when I did speak with him after booking, upon arrival, and when I called to question charges. I saw that was the case in some of the reviews. However, the unprofessionalism is quite loud and will be the demise of this location.

Truck ran weird
Keyonia WDomontra had a guy there who told me (in very broken English) that I had to take it to a different place up the road called Tire Guys. There was no one at Tire Guys so I completed the online check out and left the keys in the drop box. I was not comfortable leaving the truck in a different location than my contract but was nothing I could do. Both Domontra and Tire Guys left me feeling quite unsafe as they are not in a great part of town.
MARK ADomantra was very rude. I wouldn’t recommend anybody renting from them. When I was talking to him trying to return truck , he tells me to stop talking.
