LEE EThe truck was in great shape. The truck is the best model I have ever rented from U-Haul. Good job. The office and the people working are very professional -- don't blow smoke; they just get the papers signed and get you on your way. Through the office windows, you can see the very busy work shop. It is a productive place for transmission work, and very busy with UHaul rentals.
WILLIAM WI recently rented a U-Haul truck and was extremely disappointed with its safety. The passenger side mirror wouldn't stay in place, forcing me to stop and adjust it multiple times during my trip. This issue made the vehicle extremely difficult to handle and posed a significant safety risk. In fact, I nearly collided with a semi-truck at 70mph because my blind spot was obscured. Fortunately, I was able to avoid the accident, but the experience was harrowing. After reporting the issue, a U-Haul mechanic adjusted the mirror the next day. However, the delay and inconvenience resulted in significant lost time and financial impact, totaling at least half a day's worth of earnings. Given the safety risks and financial losses I incurred, I believe some form of compensation would be reasonable.
