I had caused a bit of confusion by adding an extra day after picking up the uhaul truck and had to use 2 cards to split the payment on and some issues developed on returning the truck. The location itself was fine. The woman there was very friendly. The rental was as expected. The issue is with Uhaul itself and it's website set up. They allowed us to book, and confirmed a rental for a pick-up truck at one location for noon on a Saturday. Then, we got a call from a second location (thankfully in the same city) that said they didn't have trucks available, but had a cargo van at the same price. But they could not do the noon pick up time. We made it work and everything was fine. But this is not the first experience I have had making a reservation online through Uhaul, only to get a call later saying there was an issue with the reservation as it had been confirmed. Work needs to be done at a company level to get a better grip of your inventory and locations, so that you are not confirming reservations for products you can not deliver. Had we not answered the phone from the random phone number after booking the reservation, we would have shown up at the first location and would have been quite upset. I understand that people don't always return inventory when scheduled- but if that causes such a disruption in service, maybe that's an indication that, as a company, you aren't built to offer online reservations.

Wiring under trailer was bare, causing the fuse for the turn signals to trip constantly during our first day of driving. We stopped at uhaul in Terre Haute, IN and worked with Buddy, who fixed this problem for us.
