I would suggest U-Haul reconsider their relationship with this affiliate/location. Firstly, the place is filthy and rundown. Secondly, the rep doesn't know much, as he told me that he only has a local 15 foot truck available and recommended that I go to the Uhaul dealer on other side of Sunrise Hwy to see if they have availability. When I called Uhaul and the Uhaul rep called him, the truck magically appeared. Lastly, the truck was filthy with garbage all over and smelled of marijuana that I had to call Uhaul to complain.

Manager of location was nowhere to be found My reservation was at 4:30pm and I didn’t get rental until 5pm. Which means I had already lost out on 30mins of my 2hr rental. On top of that I am being charged 100 miles when I had barely even reached 20 miles. All of this is absurd!
KAITLYNN TFirst of all, when I arrived to pick up the vehicle the clerk was more interested on what he was watching on TV then greeting me as a customer. The location was dirty and smelled, also had bugs crawling on the counters. The vehicle had been partially swept clean, and the windshield on the inside was filthy. Then, when I retuned the vehicle, the office was locked, and after knocking on the door for minutes, the clerk finally got out of his car to open the door and let me in. He did not explain the charges to me upon return, and when I got the emailed invoice, he had charged me for two rental periods instead of one showing the vehicle returned at 7:38pm, when in fact it was returned at 12:30-12:45 pm. This rental location is a black mark on U Haul and I will never go there again. We have tow large dogs and had planned to rent often to take them for services such as groomings and vet visits, but we will have to think twice going forward.

Tiwan JRidiculous, one the guy was ignoring the phone until he saw me walk in and acted like he was just now picking it up I told him that’s me calling.. he told me he would send me a email when I brought the van back on time and that everything was fine. 3 days later U-Haul calls me to ask me if I still have the van I told them no that it was returned ON TIME.. and that the guy was supposed to do his job. The lady said “ let me call and see what’s going on with him” … 2 hours later my card was charged $220 for 3 extra days.. now I have to wait for a manager to reach out. Meanwhile I’m pregnant and have things to pay for I’M HIGHLY PISSED AND CONFUSED
