I would recommend this location only as a pick-up during business hours and not to use with after hours. My rental equipment (furniture dolly, utility dolly, and moving blankets) were not in the truck when I arrived and the truck was not swept out. The owner of the auto shop (Rodney) was extremely helpful but is not associated with the Uhaul portion. He made sure the truck was cleaned out after noticing that the cargo area was a mess and helped take my rental equipment to the vehicle. The gas was also on 1/8 of a tank and listed as 1/4 when I rented.

The person responsible for Uhaul rentals, not the owner of the business, “overslept” and caused me to run late. I had people waiting on me to help me load. The owner of the business called Uhaul and helped me get it resolved after the Uhaul person had not shown up after 45 minutes.

william jRental truck was not “checked in properly” according to both employees so it took 40 minutes to get outside and have the equipment brought out. Truck had interior missing equipment and damage, was supposed to be noted on their check in, and the truck smelled of smoke, had a lighter and cigarette butt left in it. The employee was about to send us on our way when we pointed out the tow dolly was missing a tail light. Now after dropping the equipment off, we learned the location DID NOT put the state of the interior of the truck in the check in and is claiming we have caused the damage of the truck. The employee was very rude, would not talk about the situation and kept saying to call 1-800 UHAUL, said he thoroughly checks in all of his vehicles and called me a liar when I reminded him of everything mentioned above. I do not recommend this location at all. If you use them, take pictures of absolutely everything even if you do the “before you go” link in the parking lot. Awful experience.
Samantha SI was charged over double of what it should have been. I was charged $192 for missing/damage charge when the unit was not missing nor had been damaged. A cleaning fee for $25, there was nothing in the back and I cleaned any trash in the front. There is over $200 in unnecessary charges. If this is how it works with u-haul there’s no way I’m recommending you to anyone or using your services anymore! This is bull****
