Making sure a reservation is reserved at an actual U-Haul store, and not at a third party/gas station. Because, the third party specifically does not help with anything. This was my first time renting a cargo trailer, and I had to connect my hitch, and trailer by myself. This is a safety hazard, and very poor customer service on their part.

The trailer had a faulty tire that was on the verge of blowing on the highway. I spotted this after experiencing violent vibrations. Upon stopping, the tire had a flat spot and deformity. The fault was quickly repaired, however, this should have been spotted upon maintenance. I had to cancel reservations due to the requirement for repair. The reason for renting a trailer is so I do not have to worry about maintainance. Quick and great service from the repair, but this should never have happened.

Charles ANot only was the floor of the cab nasty, it had potato chips on it ,the seat belt conection was missing the cover. When I turned it in I expected them to inspect it for the milage and gas therefore I did not record either. I know for a fact there was a fourth of a tank of gas in it. The last thing I did before turning the truck off was check. I have been charged $30.00 service fee and $14.00 for gas. I sell valentine baskets and have renter trucks for over 10 years and this is the worst experience I have ever had.
